SSDT has the capability to shorten the die development cycle and reduce the design and manufacturing costs on the premise of ensuring product quality, has realized the intelligent manufacturing of dies, and established a standardized die development and manufacturing process. SSDT has mastered the die manufacturing core technologies, such as laser quenching technology, high-speed automatic processing technology, and the processing technology for die insert single piece etc..

Hot Forming

SSDT has the capability of process production and process control for boron steel and deformable aluminum alloy. The types of boron steel hot forming parts include thickness plate, TRB plate, TWB plate, patch plate, soft zone, etc.. The types of aluminum alloy include 7xxx series and 6xxx series, and the hot forming process of 7075 door inner plate is under development.

Hot forming simulation

SSDT has the capability of forming process simulation and heat transfer simulation of boron steel hot forming and deformable aluminum hot forming. We can accurately predict the part formability and die status. We have established material library for CAE simulation analysis and enterprise standard for hot forming process & CAE . We have the optimization design capability for die cooling system to ensure the final performance and size of parts.

Hot forming design

SSDT has the capability to design and develop the conventional hot forming die, PCH structure die, and the heating system of soft zone die. We have established the standard parts library and standard die base library of hot forming, the Die Experience Teaching Library, the design standard for cooling system and the heat treatment process parameters library for different inserts according to the characteristics of different materials.

SSDT has the capability of high-speed machining and programming for large-scale dies, and has the capability of processing the cooling channel of hot forming die insert, and can complete the conventional die processing, hot status processing and try-out of soft zone tooling.
